Diana Khachaturyan

Diana Khachaturyan holds a graduate degree from Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. Currently, she is a graduate student at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy in North Carolina, USA. She specializes in International Development Policy, a program designed for mid-career professionals. While attending the school she also works as Teaching Assistant for both Economic Foundation for Development course at Sanford School, and executive training program for Kazakh governmental officials at Duke Center of International Development. Prior to starting her graduate studies Diana had worked in development and security field focusing on such issues as peace-building, conflict management, human rights, human trafficking, child sexual abuse, HIV/AIDS prevention, women empowerment and community mobilization. Her current professional and research interests include peace and security, demographic security, migration, diasporas for development, energy security, education, women and children empowerment.
