Senior Fellow
Audrey Selian currently works on sustainable development projects, focusing on applying the rigor of commercial and 'private sector' thinking to a range of development enterprise projects in the agriculture, clean energy and water sectors in India. During the period of her doctoral studies, Audrey researched the impact of information and communication technologies (ICTs) on post-communist states, and particularly on the processes of political development in transition states. The focus of her work more broadly since 2000 has been on innovation systems, economic development, and political governance in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. She has served as Director of Marketing and Sales EMEA for a startup tech company, and has also held short-term external consultant positions at the Strategy and Policy Unit of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland.
