Ani Harutyunyan is a Research Analyst at the AidData, and a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Theory & Practice of International Relations at the College of William & Mary. Prior to that, Ani was a researcher at LICOS - Centre for Institutions and Economic Performance at KU Leuven, and has also worked with the World bank, International Monetary Fund, and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Ani Harutyunyan holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Leuven and Southern Methodist University. Her doctoral research, focusing on issues in international development and long-run economic growth, has been presented in numerous conferences worldwide and published in high-impact academic journals.
