Tigran is a theoretical physicist working at the cutting edge of problems in cold atoms, superconductivity, mesoscopics and nanotechnology, and also quantum dynamical systems. After receiving his Ph.D. degree from Yerevan Physics Institute, Tigran has spent his time working at various top level European and US institutions including the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, Laboratory LAPTH in Annecy, France, the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark, University of Utah, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Joint Quantum Institute and Condensed Matter Theory Center, University of Maryland at College Park. Currently he works at the Fine Theoretical Physics Institute, University of Minnesota.
